Medical science and aesthetic care under one roof

It often begins with a quiet wish to feel more comfortable in your own skin. We meet it with a full hospital: a boutique hospital with three operating theatres, 15 inpatient rooms, a 10-bed recovery unit, and full-time doctors on site.

Specialist teams work side by side, so the surgeon, the anaesthesiologist and the physician who checks your health before surgery are in the same building.

1 · Where surgery happens

A hospital, not a clinic room

Surgery is done only at our Thiruvalla hospital. Kochi is a consultation and follow-up clinic; no surgery is performed there.

  • Three operating theatres, used only for planned procedures
  • Full-time, in-house doctors on site
  • Registered under the Kerala Clinical Establishments Act
  • In-house laboratory for pre-operative blood tests
  • Pharmacy on site, so prescribed medicines are ready at discharge
  • Qualified surgeons and plastic surgeons; qualifications listed on our Medical Team page

2 · Anaesthesia

A qualified anaesthesiologist, from the first check to the recovery room

Anaesthesia carries its own risks, so it gets its own specialist. Your surgeon does not give your anaesthesia.

Before

Pre-anaesthetic check

The anaesthesiologist reviews your history, medicines, tests and airway before surgery day, and can stop the procedure if anything is not right.

During

Continuous monitoring

Heart rhythm (ECG), oxygen level, blood pressure, exhaled carbon dioxide (capnography) and body temperature are monitored throughout.

After

Monitored recovery

You wake in the recovery unit, watched by trained nurses until your vital signs are stable and the anaesthesiologist clears you.

Local, sedation or general anaesthesia?

It depends on the area treated and how much fat is removed. Your surgeon and anaesthesiologist decide together and explain the choice to you before you sign consent.

3 · If something unexpected happens

Emergency backup is planned before you arrive

Serious complications are uncommon, but no surgical centre can rule them out. What matters is how quickly a team can respond, so we plan for it.

  1. 01
    Resuscitation equipment in theatre
Defibrillator, emergency drug trolley and advanced airway equipment, checked and logged on the schedule set by regulations.
  2. 02
    Ventilator support on site
Our recovery unit can support breathing while a patient is stabilised.
  3. 03
Transfer arrangement with a tertiary hospital
A standing arrangement for intensive-care transfer, about 10 minutes away by road.
  4. 04
    Practised, not just written down
The theatre team runs an emergency drill every month.
4 · Who we operate on

Saying no is part of keeping you safe

Liposuction is body contouring, not weight loss. We decline or postpone surgery when the risk is higher than it should be, and we tell you why.

You are likely suitable if

  • You are 18 or older and in good general health
  • Your BMI is within the limit our surgeons set for your procedure, and your weight has been stable for 6 months
  • Any long-term condition, such as blood pressure or diabetes, is well controlled
  • You have localised fat that has not responded to diet and exercise
  • You can stop smoking for at least 1 week before and after surgery

We will not operate, or will wait, if

  • You have uncontrolled diabetes, heart or lung disease
  • You have a bleeding or clotting disorder, or a past blood clot without specialist clearance
  • You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or within 3–6 months of delivery, depending on the procedure
  • Your tests or ECG show something that needs a specialist opinion first
  • Your expectations cannot be met safely by surgery

Before every surgery

Blood tests, including clotting and sugar
ECG and chest X-ray
Ultrasound where needed
Blood-clot risk assessment
Physician review of your medicines
A safe limit on volume per session; larger plans are staged
5 · After surgery

You go home when you are ready, not when the day ends

  • Discharge only when you are walking, eating, your pain is controlled and your vital signs are stable
  • Overnight stay whenever the surgeon or anaesthesiologist advises it
  • Compression garment and physiotherapy included in every liposuction programme
  • Scheduled reviews in person, or by video after you return home
  • A direct line to the surgical team: +91 79022 55518, answered 24 hours a day
Call us at once, or go to the nearest emergency department, if you have
  • Breathlessness or chest pain
  • Pain, swelling or warmth in one calf
  • Fever above 38°C
  • Bleeding that soaks through the dressing
  • Dizziness or fainting

We give you this list in print, in English and Malayalam, before you leave.
